Your First Success Lesson

We’re all about wanting to live a successful life, whatever your definition of success may be.  Regardless, the information that I provide will no doubt contain information to hopefully help you attain all of your goals!

So, here’s your first “success lesson”

I’m sure you’ve already heard Einstein’s definition of insanity?

He said “Insanity: Doing the same thing again and again and expecting different results”.

So what does this have to do with you?
Simple…

Self improvement is all about change…change your thoughts and you change your actions. Change your actions, and you change your results!

One thing that you may find helpful in facilitating this change is having your own personal 10 commandments.

The way this works is that you want to have a list of 5 daily “do’s” and 5 daily “don’ts”.

I suggest making a checklist for each day of the month on PAPER (not online) and check off which daily do’s and don’t’s you do everyday. This way you can track your progress!

The daily do’s and don’ts should have to do with the areas of your life you’re looking to improve.  For example:

If it’s money some do’s  could be;
– transfer $50 to savings account once a month, etc.
– keep track of your spending
– read 1 chapter of a wealth building book

Your don’ts might include;
– don’t use any of your credit cards (cash and carry only),
– don’t buy that Michael Kors bag
– don’t buy that extra cup of coffee in the morning

These are just a few ideas to get you on the right track, I’m sure that you can come up with some better ones for yourself!

The most important thing is that you’re actually writing things down and that you’ve STOPPED looking for instant results!

Also, give yourself some room to screw up. There are going to be days when everything on your list will be checked off, and then there will be days when you’ll miss a few. The thing to remember is to strive for constant improvement!

Remember that it takes about 90 days to REALLY develop a new habit, so be as consistent as possible during the first 90 days…then it will become much easier for you.

Take Action Now!!  Go create your list right now, and stay tuned for my next lesson!!
