Tips and Hacks for a Perfect Beach Wedding

Beach weddings are always vibrant and full of energy, which pretty much represents the newlyweds in the best possible way. Even though it seems very easy to organize such an event, it is definitely not like that, since there are much more things you have to think of in comparison with the traditional wedding in a hotel. Here are some tips and hacks for organizing a perfect beach wedding, so check them out and see what needs to be covered.

1. Comfortable Footwear Is a Must

The sand can often get too hot, so walking barefoot is not the best idea. Besides that, heels are also inappropriate for such a setting – so choose flats instead of pumps. Your guest should be prepared for that, too, so you can arrange welcome packs that include flip-flops in their size. Setting up a shoe station is also great, because you don’t want your guests to spend the day with sand in their shoes.  They will be able to swap them for flip-flops and wipe sand off their feet, which will make them feel much more comfortable at your big day.

2. Deal With the Cake Properly

Temperatures that are going through the roof can be a game-changer, especially when it comes to dealing with your wedding cake after the ceremony. In order to prevent it from liquefying and pouring all over the table, it would be smart to keep it indoors until the last moment. Then bring it out just in time for the cake-cutting tradition. This may work even better since guests will expect it to come out every minute, so the surprise will be even more intense.

3. Timing Is Everything

Set a perfect date for your wedding day in order to prevent uninvited onlookers from stopping by and spontaneously gathering to see what is happening. This means that you should avoid weekends and holidays and consider a weekday instead. The number of people who may pop up will be reduced this way. Also, it is a good idea to rely on experts who would facilitate last-minute changes because of unexpected rain. Besides that, lighting is very important for your wedding photos, and it would be perfect for the event to end about an hour before sunset. You will get the most amazing photos shot in natural lighting, as well as beautiful sunset portraits.

4. Decide on the Outfits

Beach weddings are somewhat unconventional, so it would be very inappropriate for you to show up in a wedding gown typical of the traditional wedding in a church. Choose a dress made of light fabric, such as georgette, chiffon, or crepe, which will let your skin breathe. Such a solution will make you feel comfortable and look gorgeous at the same time. You can even opt for pleats, jewelry, or even fringes for a true bohemian bridal look. When it comes to your bridesmaids, the most important thing is that they feel comfortable in their dresses, too. Don’t be too pushy and let them share their ideas about the outfits. On the other hand, if you decide on having a junior bridesmaid, consider searching for junior bridesmaid dresses online.

It is true that many things can go wrong at the beach wedding, however, you can definitely prevent that from happening if you follow our guidelines. Attention to detail is very important when it comes to planning on such an event, so make sure that you have worked out everything. It is a good idea to have a backup plan, too – that will definitely ensure you that everything will go as planned.
