Gmail is one of the most used emailing apps on Android and Apple devices. There are a ton of emails that users receive daily but most of them are not important. A lot of these emails are from brands and other services you have subscribed (and most of the time not subscribed) to and these brands Email the users to alert them about their products or ongoing sales. These kinds of emails fill up your Google Drive and then, in the end, you do not have any space for important emails. After much observation, Gmail released an unsubscribe button for those emails for iPhones, but there was no such feature for Android. Now, Gmail has come up with an unsubscribe feature for Android devices too.

This feature was first spotted by Android Authority. The procedure of unsubscribing from an email with this feature is quite simple. The user has to only tap the button beside the sender’s name after opening the mail on Gmail. This will help you unsubscribe without leaving the email. When you tap on the button, you will be automatically unsubscribed from the sender or you will be directed to the website to unsubstituted from there. It all depends on the publisher. As this feature is currently enrolling, it is not available to all users yet. You can update the Gmail app and see if the feature is available to you or not. If it isn't, you have to wait a few days until the feature is fully enrolled.

You can still unsubscribe from an email using another way. You have to select an email, tap the three buttons at the top, and unsubscribe by clicking spamming. You will be successfully unsubscribed from that email. You can also report an email for phishing and let Google know if the email is harmful in any way.
