to help you sift through your own motives before you post online:

When building a platform, competing desires can muddy your motives as a writer. How do you sift through the noise to find clarity?

My special guest today, Kristie Anyabwile, shares some great perspective in our latest video!

In this interview, Kristie shares a wealth of wisdom about topics like:

  • The importance of measuring our motives before the Lord to weed out any ulterior motives that may be hidden deep within
  • The wise practice of waiting to post on social media instead of posting immediately, especially if the post contains potentially controversial content or material that was written out of anger or defensiveness
  • Finding an accountability partner to give honest input about whether your post is helpful or unhelpful
  • Seeking to post content that is redemptive, not vindictive
  • . . . and much more!

“Before posting on social media, ask yourself, “Do I really need to post this right now in this way? Or is there a more helpful, redemptive way I could say it?” ~ Kristie Anyabwile
