Paul was raised by his father, Lee James Qualley, and mother Patricia Ann Rondou. It is unknown if he has any siblings. Information about his educational background has not been disclosed.

Although there is not much information about his professional career, he is known to have made a name for himself in the fashion industry, appearing in a number of advertising commercials and catwalks. She was raised by her father, Marion St. Pierre MacDowell, who was a lumber manager, and mother Pauline ‘Paula’ Johnston, who worked as a music teacher. In 1964, her parents apparently divorced because her mother was an alcoholic, and her father later remarried Mary Frances Stone. Her mother died at the age of 53. Andie attended Winthrop University but dropped out without graduating.

Career as a model

Before becoming an actress, Andie pursued a career as a fashion model. She was noticed by a representative of Wilhelmina Models, and in 1978 she signed a modeling contract with Elite Model Management. In the early 1980s, she was featured in “Vogue” magazine and modeled for brands such as Armani, Bill Blass and Yves Saint Laurent, among many others. Andie gained huge popularity after being featured in a series of billboards in Times Square, New York City and television commercials for Calvin Klein. She has been a spokeswoman for L’Oréal since 1986.

Beginning of an acting career

Andie’s collaboration with Calvin Klein led her to her screen debut in the role of Miss Jane Porter in the 1984 adventure “Greystoke: The Legend Of Tarzan, Lord Of The Apes” directed by Hugh Hudson. The role earned her a Los Angeles Film Critics Association Award for Best Actress and an Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead. She then starred as Brontë Parrish in the 1990 romantic Comedy “Green Card”, for which she received a Golden Globe Award nomination for Best Actress – Motion Picture Musical or Comedy. She then played Anna Baragli in the action comedy “Hudson Hawk” alongside Bruce Willis and played Tina Lesley Bartholemew in the comedy crime drama “The Object Of Beauty”, both in 1991.

Andie’s next major role came in 1993, when she played Ann Finnigan in the comedy-drama film “Short Cuts”, winning joint Golden Globe Special Ensemble Cast Award and Volpi Cup for Best Emsemble Cast. The same year, she won a Saturn Award for Best Actress for her performance as Rita Hanson in Harold Ramis’ fantasy comedy Groundhog Day, which was a box office success. She then played Carrie in the 1994 romantic comedy Four Weddings And A Funeral,” which earned her a Golden Globe Award nomination in the Best Actress – Motion Picture Musical or Comedy category.

In 1996, Andie played Dorothy Winters in the fantasy film “Michael” alongside John Travolta, for which she won a Goldene Kamera Award for Best International Actress. In 2012, Andie was chosen to play Gray Chandler Murray in the ABC Family comedy-drama series “Jane By Design”; however, it was canceled after one season. After that, she joined the cast of the family drama series “Cedar Bay”aired on Hallmark Channel, cast as Olivia Lockhart in 36 episodes of the series from 2013 to 2015.
