Speaking to the Sunday Times, she said her childhood was a “chaotic but positive experience.” She was born in Islington, but after her parents separated, she spent most of her childhood in Ashton-under-Lyne, Lancashire. David and Mary had multiple relationships between the two of them which led to Sadie having many siblings.
