The Central Library of Celje (Osrednja knjižnica Celje) is hosting a documentary exhibition entitled HERMAN POTOČNIK NOORDUNG.

The opening shall unravel tonight, 22 December 2014, at 5 PM, on the 2nd floor of the library, honouring the 122th birth anniversary of Herman Potočnik Noordung. (read more ...)

The Exhibition authors Primož Premzl and Sandi Sitar (PhD) wish to make the (according to the invitation) Slovenian premiere presentation of the Potočnik book's Russian translation, published already as early as 1935. The book is considered to be a first-rate rarity. No library in Slovenia possesses this historical artifact. After many years of search it has been found a few days ago in St. Petersburg. It will become a permanent part of the exhibition on 5 January 2015, when there will also be a lecture on Potočnik's life in the hosting library.

The exhibition remains running until 31 January 2015.
