The newest Documentary that encompasses a larger part of KSEVT history in the last few years through the captivating story of Sunita Williams, astronaut at NASA, partly of Slovene origin, shall be screened as a preview (the premiere is bound to happen in September) at the DOKUDOC International Documentary Film Festival in Maribor, Slovenia.
The screening is scheduled for 28 August 2015 at 23.00 (11 PM) at Sodni Stolp in Maribor [location link].
SYNOPSIS
art documentary film with a title: “VITANJE IN SPACE: SUNITA” (50min) addressees the problem of living in space trough the eye of science and art. The basis for this documentary are a Slovenian scientist and visionary HERMAN POTOČNIK NOORDUNG (a racket engineer and founder of astronautics and cosmonautics), SUNITA WILLIAMS (an astronaut of a Slovenian-Indian descent, a citizen of Space) and KSEVT at Vitanje (Slovenia) (Cultural Center of European Space Technologies). A documentary film “VITANJE IN SPACE: SUNITA” is a film essay on man’s desire for discovering and conquering the universe.
