A man, presumably from China, has gone to great lengths to create a fake profile in Instagram filled with photos of official policy. Page even refers to partitlaburista.org.
The scammer went so far as to recommend to subscribers of the Lord of Muscat to contact some Out of the way to invest in Bitcoin, promising huge profit within a month.
The recommendations of the “Prime Minister” were deleted from Instagram. However, the above-mentioned person Out Wei is still active in Instagram (wangwei8976), as the fake account of the Prime Minister. (josephmuscat290). Official profile of the Prime Minister (josephmuscat_jm) can be found here.
The fake account has 304 followers, most of whom are residents of Malta, among which are politicians. This official account, led by the labour party, is confirmed. Having 15 thousand followers. Who, indeed, runs a parallel account, remains a mystery.
