Suicide Squad

Based loosely on the animated Batman movie “Assault on Arkham”, suicide squad visits the other side of DC Comics, “the bad guys”. A rich cast that includes Will Smith, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Jai Courtney, Jay Hernandez, Viola Davis and many more makes Suicide Squad a great flick to watch if you are in the mood for some crazy super villain action and mayhem.
US intelligence officer Dr. Amanda Waller assembles a team of criminal misfits as a contingency if Superman & Batman think of taking over the world one day. When the group of gifted criminals gets called up for their first mission, they are oblivious that the threat comes from within.
After a long stay at the box office the movie has not done well amongst routine movie goers, gathering an IMDb score of 6.7, while Rotten Tomatoes gives it a rating of 26% followed by Metacritic that gives it a very average 40%. Although the movie gets poor ratings, do remember that DC has only gone into phase 1 of character development. With a Batman appearance in Suicide Squad there is definitely more to come.
Star Trek Beyond

With an el-magnifico rating of 7.3 on IMDb, a massive 84% fan rating on Rotten Tomatoes and a brilliant Metacritic score of 68%, Star Trek Beyond is a must watch adventure thriller for any Sci-Fi fanatic.
Captain Fantastic

The story takes an exciting U turn when the family is forced to leave their self created heaven and embark on a journey to the outside world where his basic principles of being a father are put to extreme test and raises questions on his mode of upbringing.
With an IMBD score of 8, the movie is set to capture the audience with its catchy story line consisting of themes of comedy and drama. The movie also fared well on metacritic with a score of 72 whereas rottentomatoes meter notched it to 82%.
Mechanic: Resurrection

Jason Statham reprises his role in the sequel to his 2011 action thriller “The Mechanic”, returning as Arthur Bishop. Bishop is given the arduous task of assassinating three of the most dangerous men in the world, while a new enemy holds his true love hostage.
Mechanic Resurrection is rated an ordinary 5.8 on IMDb, 26% on Rotten Tomatoes and 38% on Metacritic. A possible reason is the change of director with Dennis Gansel directing the sequel. The action filled crime thriller offers a great weekend watch.
Nerve

Independence Day: Resurgence

A scary and fearsome entity mysteriously attached to their mother, Sophie (Maria Bello), has again resurfaced. But now as Rebecca is about to get closer to decoding the truth behind the events, the family’s safety is in grave danger … once the lights go out.
After conjuring Lights out has made its entry with an impressive score of 6.5 whereas metacritic placed on the scale 58 out of 100. It has also done well on the rottentomatoes with a mention worthy rating of 77%. It’s a must watch Horror movie for true Horror fans.
Captain America: Civil War

Civil War has accumulated a superb 8.0 ranking on IMDb, Rotten Tomatoes gives it a 90% fan rating while Metacritic gives it a very strong 75% approval. A must watch for any Marvel Universe fan.
Ice Age: Collision course

Although rated 5.7 on IMDb, a very poor Rotten Tomatoes viewer rating of 13% and 34% approval according to Metacritic, Ice Age: Collision Course is a great family movie to enjoy.
