You are participating on the Internet” (Forbes). And Box has been aptly described as a “simple, secure, file sharing, and collaboration from anywhere” solution for businesses of all shapes, styles, and sizes striving to operate on a foundation of team participation.

How to Use Box for Cloud Storage & Collaboration

If you’re a member of the USF Health community, then this file sharing, collaboration, and cloud storage solution is available to you, today. Individual users are automatically allotted 100GB of storage to begin. To login or create a new account you’ll have to visit https://usfhealth.account.box.com/login and use your USF credentials (e.g. username, password). Note that if you do this from home, you’ll have to add in the domain ‘hscnet’, as well. For example, ‘hscnet\esmith’. It’s as simple as that to get started.

Once your account is ready to use you can upload your first file or folder. Just select the green ‘upload’ button in the upper left corner of the screen. Then, simply choose which items you’d like to upload to your account and allow the magic to begin. Box clients will find that it is designed to be very user-friendly, clearly navigable, and secure.
