Responsibilities of the Role:

• Produce bespoke solar PV designs using PVSol/PVsyst.
• Complete and submit technical reports regarding each project.
• Responsible for evaluating technical suitability of materials and equipment.
• Drafting & maintaining project O&M and as built files.
• PV System commissioning support to site Engineers.
• Operate document control system for drawings.
• Develop material schedules and take-offs from drawings.
• Responsible for the full project life cycle.
• Build strong professional relationships with our sub-contractors.
• Develop construction details to issue to site.
• Co-ordinate and liaise with each department as required.
• Ensure Activ8 policies and procedures are followed closely.
• Contribute to tender negotiation.
• Maintain a weekly project schedule.

Essential Criteria for the Role:

• A 3rd level qualification in Renewable Engineering/Electrical Engineering or Electrician Qualification
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Have the ability to multi-task and manage numerous projects simultaneously ensuing the highest of standards.
• Adaptable and solutions driven.
• Able to work in a team environment.
• Pride in the quality and presentation of work.
• Flexible to travel.
• Enthusiastic and energetic.

Desirable Criteria:

• Experience in the Construction Industry or Trade Background
• Be a competent user of AutoCAD, PVSol/PVSyst and Microsoft Office.

Salary €40,000 + DOE
