Responsibilities of the Role:
- Oversee the production of solar PV designs using PVSol/PVsyst.
- Complete and submit technical reports regarding each project.
- Responsible for evaluating technical suitability of materials and equipment.
- Drafting & maintaining project O&M and as built files.
- PV System commissioning support to site Engineers.
- Operate document control system for drawings.
- Develop material schedules and take-offs from drawings.
- Responsible for the full project life cycle.
- Build strong professional relationships with our sun-contractors.
- Develop construction details to issue to site.
- Co-ordinate and liaise with each department as required.
- Ensure Activ8 Policies and procedures are followed closely.
- Contribute to tender negotiation.
- Maintain a weekly project schedule.
Essential Criteria for the Role:
- A 3rd level qualification in Engineering.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Have the ability to multi-task and manage numerous projects simultaneously ensuing the highest of standards.
- Adaptable and solutions driven.
- Able to work in a team environment
- Pride in the quality and presentation of work
- Flexible to travel
- Enthusiastic and energetic
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience in the Construction Industry or Trade Background
- Be a competent user of AutoCAD, PVSol/PVSyst and Microsoft Office
