Due to expansion and ongoing growth, we are delighted to be recruiting for a full-time Accountant to join our Finance Team in Activ8 Energies. This role will report to our in-house Management Accountant with the support and ability to grow within the team. The role will be based in our newly built, state-of-the-art Carrickmacross office on the N2, situated just 25 minutes from Dundalk.

Duties & Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable

Data entry of the bank

Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts

Preparation of reconciliations for review (Bank, debtor, and creditor accounts)

Creditor Payment Run Management

Submission of VAT/RCT Returns

Assisting in the preparation of the Annual Financial Statement and liaising with company auditors.

Requirements:

Accounting qualification desirable

Newly Qualified/Part Qualified invited to apply

Experience in a similar role

Ability to work as part of a team

Good People / Communication skills

Leaving Certificate

Experience:

Accounts payable & receivable: 2 year (required)

License/Certification:

Accounts Technician or related Accounts qualification (preferred)
