1. Discover Yourself
As I said earlier, you were designed to be distinctive, special, irreplaceable and unique, so refused to be “normal”. Go beyond the average. Do not strive to be someone else rather strive to be yourself. God has placed something special in everybody that makes them to be unique. You need to discover this uniqueness of yours and let it be your motivation. Despite the fact that we have over 6 Billion people on this planet earth, no two individual are alike – our finger prints, genetic code and chromosome combination are all distinct and unique. Celebrate your uniqueness and let it be a reason why you need to succeed in business. There are people out there wanting to pay for that uniqueness of yours.
2. Divine Idea
Having discovered yourself, go for divine ideas. The Bible says does any of you lack wisdom (idea) let him ask GOD. If GOD gives you the ideas you need in business, the ideas will be sound and it will make capital to flow in your direction. Apart from the initial start up idea, in a situation where the business is facing challenges you can always run to God because He has the template. Recently we noticed a decline in the volume of sales in our business and we decided to go back to God in prayer. He answered us by showing us what we are doing correctly and what we need to do more. If ideas rule the world, divine ideas enthrones you.
3. Work on the Idea
Ideas are like seed that needs to be planted for it to germinate. When an idea is received or conceived, the next thing is to brood over it and digest it. It is at this point that flesh will be added to this seed to make it a fruit to be edible. A lot of business dies at this point of idea not knowing what to do.

Planning is organized thinking. It is one of the keys to a successful business. For every successful product, there is always a process and this process need to be planned. A lot of people wake up in a day just because they have money they start a business without planning. Planning does not negate faith but substantiates it. Planning shows organization while organization gives you an edge among your contemporaries.

Success flies on the wings of diligence. See a man diligent in his work/business/calling he shall stand before Kings and not mean men. Diligence makes you to attempt to your customer promptly. Diligence makes you to be right on time. Diligence will not make a commitment and run away from it. Diligence listens and considered feedback from customers after service delivery.
6. Passion
The passion you have for what you do will make you give it all it takes to succeed. When take is no passion, you run away at every point of challenge. Are you fascinated about what you do? Without passion, you may not go far. There are instances where what your business gives does not commensurate with what you are giving in. Passion will keep you going during this period. I tell people I enjoy doing my craft either am paid for it or not I like seeing what I can do with my hands. Because of this passion I go for the extraordinary and this has in turn paid financially. Develop a passion today and you are never tired.
7. Time Consciousness
The world today is on a fast moving train and everybody wants to save time. How time conscious are you? Do you keep customers waiting for you or you are right there on time? Let your customers know when you are open for business and when you close. By the time you are opening 11am in the morning some people are through with the early sales of the day and you complain the business is bad.
8. Deal With Fear
Fear is having faith in the impossible. It dwells on all that could go wrong instead of what will go right. The spirit of fear refuses to allow our mind to run wild imagining everything that could happen and choose instead to apply God’s promises to the situation and to depend on God’s love and power for the outcome. A lot of people refuse to go into business for the fair of failure of the business. To combat the spirit of fear, dwell on the promise of GOD concerning you and your business knowing that He that has promised will perfect everything concerning your business.
