How to Unlock HTC 10 Bootloader

1. Go to HTCDev.com and register.
2. After registering and verifying your account, click on Unlock Bootloader.                                      
3. Select “All Other Supported Models” from the dropdown list and then click on “Begin Unlock Bootloader” button.
4. Read the warning message and click on “Yes”.
5. Click on “Proceed to unlock Instructions”
6. Download HTC fastboot file and extract it to C:\ drive.
7. Turn-off your device and reboot into bootloader mode. (Hold Volume Down + Power Button).         
8. From the menu, highlight fastboot using volume keys and select it using power button.               
9. Open CMD on PC and type:

   cd c:\fastboot

10. Now type:

    fastboot oem get_identifier_token

11. A long string will be generated. Copy it by following instruction given here.
12. Paste the copied identifier on HTCDev page and click on submit.                                                 
13. You will now get an email from HTC containing Unlock_code.bin file. Download it and copy/paste in fastboot folder.

14. Now in CMD, type:

    fastboot flash unlocktoken Unlock_code.bin

15. On your phone, read all the instructions and accept using Volume and power keys.
16. Done.

Your HTC 10 bootloader is now unlock. The next step is to root and install TWRP recovery on it.
