The Ultimate Shopify Guide to Making $100/Day!

The Ultimate Shopify Guide to Making $100/Day!

Would you like to know what other people are selling on Shopify? I know I do. I love applying this method to find other stores and see what they are selling and what is actually getting sold and also check their copies. This is a huge time saver and takes out a lot of the guesswork and testing.

Okay lets assume you have your niche and you have chosen Game Of Thrones. Now head over to Aliexpress and search for Game Of Thrones and sort them by orders which will show you what's the best selling products in your niche. Now choose the first 3 - 4 products and copy the name. It's gonna be stuffed with keywords so you have to choose only a part of it. Then head over to Facebook and search for you product. name and you will see quite a lot of stores selling them. Look at the interactions - reactions to the post, comments, shares. If you see a product with a lot of comments and likes you can actually copy the whole thing. The ad copy, the image, the landing page as in how it's set up on the store. The only thing you have to do differently is test the targeting on FB ads. I know a lot of you find it pretty complicated but don't worry I got you covered with that too. Okay that's one way you can reverse engineer your way to find other products on Facebook.

But there's another way to find stores in every niche you can think of. First head over to Google.com.
Type in "site:myshopify.com keyword" and you will get every store that's selling products in that niche. Now how do you know if the store is actually selling items? The first thing you wanna check is the box that pops up on the left. It's gonna say "someone in city, country bought a "product." Stay on the site for a bit, you will get a good understanding of what products are selling. Test out with different keywords and go through a bunch of stores till you get some good idea of hot selling products. Once you have a list of products run it through Facebook and you will also find the ads for those products.

Facebook Advertising For Shopify 101

In the previous thread I didn't go that deep into Facebook advertising but in this one I will explain everything in details and give some amazing pointers to really kill it with Fb ads. Okay first thing I said was using the audience insight tool and getting the audience. I have explained it in a bit more details in the "Advanced targeting" video so make sure to watch it. Before you go about finding your audience here are some things to keep in mind women buy more than men (depends on the niche of course), age group should always be above 21+. You need to go in depth with the targeting because you have to understand that you have to find highly passionate audiences in your niche who are buyers.

Next up is creating your ads. Like I said in the previous thread you should go for Conversion Ads but bear in mind that it's not the only type of ads that bring in sales. I will explain in a bit. But first for the conversion ads or facebook ads in general you have to understand that Facebook takes time in optimizing your ads. So in the beginning you WILL lose money and that's perfectly fine. I will give you a rough summary below that you should follow to know when to scale/kill your ads. I have explained this in more details in the videos. Once you create your audience remember don't go too broad with the targeting. Drill down to a point where your target audience is around 200k - 400k or somewhere around there. From the last thread I have seen a lot of you are just getting started with Fb ads so set your daily spend limit to $5 - $7 as $20 is a bit too much if you don't have a huge spending budget like me.

Besides conversion ads you can also do Post Engagement ads which are PPE ads and I know a lot of people will say that for Shopify/Ecom conversion ads are the best way to go and yes they are but don't underestimate the power of PPE ads. Why? If you can create ads the right away these can go viral and get you insane amounts of traffic and sales. Let me give you an example I ran an ad that was a video and the video got a huge amount of engagement and sorta went viral. There was a product being used in the video and I put that up on my store and at the end of the description of the ad I said If you want to get the "product" click here - link. Now yes Shopify is great for to get started with the free+shipping but once you get a good idea of everything you have to run ads for full priced products. That product was priced at $29.99 on my store and I was outsourcing it for around $8 including shipping as I was paying extra for shipping and I got tons of sales at the full price. So the possibilities are endless.

When to scale an ad -

◦Creating Your Ad
◦Conversion
◦Cost> $5 = Continue to run the ad for 3 – 4 days.
◦Conversion cost still high? Breakdown the interests and age group
◦Cost
◦Breakdown your interests into sets.
◦Increase your ad budget slowly.

When to kill an ad -

◦No conversion
◦CTR > 5%
◦Run the ad for 3-4 days on a $5 to $7 daily budget.
◦Still no conversion? Your product is not targeted enough or interest group are not buyers.
◦CTR
◦Kill the ad right away.

Things to keep in mind when running Facebook ads. Testing is everything. I can't assess this enough. You may lose money on a few campaigns but you need only ONE winning campaign to make that money tenfold.

Marketing with Instagram

I am pretty sure at the point everyone of you know how to grow IG accounts if you don't follow Cryogenesis's thread and you will get a good idea. Everyone is focusing on OG ads and other CPA platforms to monetize the traffic but I haven't seen one person try what I am about to show you. Okay so you have your IG accounts and you continue to grow them. Now how do you make money with those and Shopify? It's really simple. You do giveaways. The item is free of course but they pay for shipping. And to get more traction to your giveaways in the bio this is how you bring huge amounts of traffic to your site. Make a collage of several items and make post like this -

Make sure to use emojis and target niches around females and you are good. Now I would recommend giving away some items for free and ask them to post pictures once they receive it. When giving away free items just make sure to give the items to people with huge followings and that in return will get you sells as well which is pretty obvious.

The second way to get sales with Instagram is to buy posts and links of niche targeted pages. I have explained this part in more details in one of the videos so just watch it and you will understand how to do it.

Apps that you should use on your store -

1. Fomo - This is a must have app that shows notification of every sale you get on your store and this really helps with conversions.

2. Product Upsell - In the previous thread I mentioned how important upsells are and this is the app I use to do upsells.

3. Hurrify - Now I got a lot of questions for this one. Remember that bar I showed in the previous thread that I use to create scarcity. Yeah this is the app I use to make those.

4. Trackr - This app lets you build a tracking page on your store which drives conversions up massively and builds trust with your customers.

5. Order Limits - This is the app I use to limit orders so a person can only place a certain number of a certain product.

6. Abandonment Protector - This is the app I use to get customers back after they leave on checkout. You will be surprised how powerful this app can be when used properly. Just give proper leverage ( discounts, extra products) and wait for you sales.

7. Oberlo - This app will let you automatically get products from Aliexpress. This makes our work much much easier as you can put a huge amount of products on your store and make it look really professional in no time.
