Kia India announced that they have sold four lakh units in the Indian domestic market where one lakh units were exported from Anantapur in Andhra Pradesh. The korean gaint sales have also crossed 5 lakh mark in Just 2.5 years.  

Kia India has started operations in India in September 2019 and they are now one  of the fastest growing companies in India. Kia exports its SUV's to almost 91 countries worldwide and has become number one UV exporter in India with a market share of 25% last year.

Kia India builds Seltos and Sonet models at Ananthapur for India and therest of the world. Out of one lakh units Seltos has contributed 77 percent and remaining 23 percent from Sonet SUV's model. Bulk volume offerings are coming from Kia Seltos and Kia Sonet SUV's. Kia Seltos and Kia Sonet Suvs are made in India. Kia Carens is also expected to boost sales as the manufacturer has now become the fifth largest player in Short span of time.
