Indian Government is planning to relax lock down restrictions after April 20

Indian government has laid out plans for the gradual reopening of our economy which will permit Agricultural, manufacturing and other activities to Resume on limited basis from April 20 On wards.


Lock Down Relaxation

India has reported more than 12000+ positive caronavirus cases and 400+ Deaths. Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing the nation on Tuesday has outlined some of the preventive measures that attempted to balance controls on Public interactions and Social distancing importance. He also mentioned that the lives of people are important and at the same time Revival of Indian economy is also equally important. The Pain caused by Caronavirus across the world is severe which has greater impact on Peoples lives and economic challenges.

Nation wide Lock Down
Indian government decided to close schools, educational institutions , religious sites, malls, cinema halls, hotels and other facilities unless they are providing the shelter to people in emergency. Religious Functions, Gatherings and wedding functions are also banned in this lock down period. Indian Premier League popularly known as IPL was also Indefinitely Postponed due to emergency situation caused by Covid-19.

Essential services will be allowed to resume so as to help poor people on Humanitarian prospects and most vulnerable people whose income resources have collapsed due to Covid-19. Rural Manufacturing units, Ports, Industrial Factories, constructions, Agricultural activities and their processing units are allowed to resume their operations. Self-employed mechanics, Electricians, Plumbers and other repair people will also be allowed to resume their work except in Caronavirus Red zone declared hot-spots.
