Xiaomi has announced a new smartwatch in China called Xiaomi Watch S1 Pro. The announcement comes after its already available models, the Watch S1 and Watch S1 Active.

Xiaomi Watch S1 Pro features and specs

The smartwatch measures 46 x 46 x 11.28 mm. It has streamlined body frame with tighter wrist and sports multi-layered process for polishing. Additionally, the device has 5ATM water resistant rating (up to 50 meters).

The Watch S1 Pro specs include a 1.47-inch AMOLED (round) always-on display that offers 480 x 480 pixels resolution and sports Sapphire Glass protection on top.

It has 12nm processor inside and comes with a built in speaker and microphone for making Bluetooth calls. The wearable uses Bluetooth V5.2 technology for connectivity with devices powered by Android 6.0 (or above) and iOS 10.0 (or above.).

It has built-in heart rate sensor which can also track Blood Oxygen saturation. The Xiaomi Watch S1 Pro is company’s first smartwatch that can measure skin temperature. It can track heart beats, blood pressure and sleep through out the day.

The smartwatch runs on MIUI Watch OS. It has Fitness tracking and comes with 117 Fitness Modes, which includes 19 professional fitness modes and 98 expanded fitness modes. There are several sensors like accelerometer, gyroscope, geomagnetic sensor, atmospheric pressure sensor, ambient light and capacitive wear detection sensor.

The Xiaomi Watch S1 Pro houses a 500mAh battery that delivers about 14 days of typical usage or about 10 days of heavy use. It has support for Wireless charging as well. For connectivity, there is support for Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and GPS/GLONASS/Beidou/Galileo/QZSS. There is an optional NFC as well.

Xiaomi Watch S1 Pro price and availability

The Watch S1 Pro with silicone strap is priced at 1499 Yuan ($222 / Rs. 17,680 approx.) while its leather strap variant costs 1599 Yuan ($237 / Rs. 18,850 approx.).
