Lenovo’s IFA offerings include a cool new convertible Yoga 910 and detachable Miix 510

The IFA event is on folks and has been witnessing a lot of exciting announcements. Along the same stream, Lenovo has launched a bunch of new additions for their multimode PC family, which includes the all new Yoga 910 convertible laptop and the Miix 510 detachable. And one look at them says they are very interesting.

The series reiterates Lenovo’s commitment to detachable devices. The Yoga series in particular, is known for the robust technology that it offers and the Lenovo Yoga 910, which incidentally is the world’s thinnest Intel Core i convertible laptop and handle your whatever you throw at it, weather its some hard work or some entertainment — be it music, movies or games — you are talking about.

Lenovo has packed the Yoga 910 with a fingerprint sensor, letting you quickly log on using the Windows Hello system. Also, you can have you choice of 4 K or a Full HD screen to better enjoy thoae movies and games.

The display is also almost edgeless and offers a significantly enhanced screen area. The pixel density has also been drastically improved leading to images that are sharper and clearer. While the thing bezel meams that the laptop looks better, it should be borne in mind that the absence of bezels also tend to make the devics somewhat more delicate.

The device is powered by Windows 10 and has a fantatic battery backup of up to 15.5 hours. It is also available with Intel’s latest 7th Gen Core i7 processor to take up anything you can throw at it.
For better sound, you get Dolby Audio Premium while the all-metal unibody casing available in Champagne Gold, Platinum Silver and Gunmetal, takes its looks to a whole new level.

Also, its a Yoga tablet after all, you can twist and fold it in a variety of positions and use it in a flexible laptop mode, stand mode, watch videos in tent mode or browse in tablet mode.

The tablet has been priced at $1299 and will be made available from the beginning of October 2016.

Lenovo Miix 510

Next we come to the Lenovo Miix 510 detachable. The device also comes with Windows 10 and you can use it either as a tablet or a laptop as per your needs or whims.

The device is available in a range of processing powers and you can get upto the 6th Gen Intel Core i7 processor in the Miix — pun intended. As its a convertible, the 510 also detaches from its keyboard letting you then your laptop into a tablet for any tablety job you have for the device.

The device also has Windows Ink support integrated, which lets you draw, doodle or even write on your screen. The device is pretty versatile and you can rock it for up to 7.5 hours on a single charge.

The device is powered by Windows 10 platform. The device rocks uo to 1 TB of PCIe SSD (solid-state drive) storage. Interestingly, if Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are not enough for you, the Miix 510 also offers optional LTE capabilities. So you can basically just plug a sim in and use the mobile network to browse the web.

The device Weighs less than 2 pounds minus the keyboard and a staggering 280 individual pieces of stainless steel mean that the integrated kickstand can be used for 150-degree angle adjustment, making it very comfortable to use.

The Miix 510 system along with the keyboard can be had for $599. As far as availability is concerned, the device will be available beginning in October 2016 from the Lenovo website.
