Renowned Apple expert Mark Gurman has led us to understand that the new Ipad versions will soon appear, probably in May 2024. Gurman predicts in his latest Power On newsletter that the May 6 week is when the new iPad Air and new iPad Pro devices might be unveiled.

After several months of rumors surrounding the updates affecting these tablets, the report increases excitement surrounding the upcoming launch too. According to Gurman’s article, there will be some substantial updates for iPad Pro devices. 

It encompasses the implementation of M3 chips that are tailored for performance, the introduction of MagSafe wireless charging technology, and a remarkable display upgrade – OLED technology for the 11-inch and 13-inch variants. Nevertheless, it may mean the alteration of the pricing of the Pro models owing to the availability of OLED displays.

Though right now the public attention captures the iPad Air and iPad Pro, Gurman claims that Apple is continuously working to develop the iPad and iPad Mini at the same time. Nevertheless, these improvements will see the limelight only after some time.

It appears that the upcoming base iPad could be a more budget-friendly option than the 2022 10th-generation model, according to what Gurman said. However, the iPad Mini may be just upgraded with a new processor in the current design and features.
