Apple’s tenth-anniversary edition Iphone X is arguably the best looking phone in the market as of today. Even after some controversy over the notch on the display, people still love using the device.
There has been a new set of information available about a new iPhone X model which is in the works. Apple is expected to launch three new iPhone models this year, one of which will be the 2018 version of iPhone X. The other two will be iPhone X Plus and a ‘mid-range’ iPhone with a 6.1-inch display.
The renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities is back to shed some light on the three upcoming iPhones. Kuo formerly stated that Apple will most probably introduce an iPhone with an LCD display and two iPhones with OLED, which would be taking up to top tier.
The base model iPhone is rumoured to sport a 6.1-inch Full HD+ LCD display with the 2017 iPhone X-like aspect ratio which will give it a more attractive look. According to Kuo, the device is most likely to pack a decent 2,950 mAh battery.
MacRumors state that the contract to assemble the device will be distributed to Pegatron, Wistron, and also Foxconn with 60 percent, 30 percent, and 10 percent of the EMS respectively. According to the rumours, the display will most probably be provided by Japan Display.
iPhone X (2018) and iPhone X Plus
The second-gen iPhone X will most likely sport a 5.8-inch OLED display and will pack 4GB RAM. The battery of the upgraded iPhone X is rumoured to be around 3400mAh. Also, the rumoured iPhone X Plus is expected to come with the same specifications of the iPhone X 2018 version, except a thing or two.
Reportedly, The OLED display will be provided by Samsung and LG. The iPhone X and X Plus will sport glass bodies, True Depth cameras, and wireless charging, too. According to Kuo, Apple has decided to go with a two-cell L-shaped design for the upgraded iPhone X and iPhone X Plus battery. The pricing of the devices have not yet been revealed but the iPhone X Plus is expected to go on sale for $1,099.
