Back with a Vengeance
Planning a new build around a system that uses DDR4 system memory? You have a growing number of options, including some new high-speed Vengeance LPX Kits from Corsair.
With frequencies up to 3,600MHz, Corsair says its new Vengeance LPX DDR4 Memory Kits are the fastest it's ever released in 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB capacities.
The 3,600MHz speed rating applies to Corsair's 32GB (4x8GB) black (CMK32GX4MB3600C81) and red (CMK32GX4M4B3600C18R) Vengeance DDR4 memory kits, both carrying an MSRP of $350. They're also both rated to run at 1.35V with timings set at 16-19-19-39.
Sitting one rung up on the ladder are the 64GB kits (4x16GB), also available in black (CMK64GX4M4B3333C16) and red (CMK64GX4M4B3333C16R). They're rated at 3,333MHz at 1.35V and 16.18-18-36 timings, and priced at $550 MSRP.
Finally, the 128GB kit (8x16GB), available only in black (CMK128GX4M8B3000C16), runs at 3,000MHz at 1.35V with timings set at 16-18-18-36. It's Corsair's fastest 128GB DDR4 kit ever, and the price for that kind of capacity and speed combination is $1,175 MSRP.
"Be it video editing, 3D rendering, 4K gaming or content creation, these 128GB, 64GB and 32GB kits offer extensive compatibility, huge capacity and high-frequency performance to suit even the most demanding applications," Corsair says.
All of the aforementioned kits include Corsair's Vengeance Airflow cooling system consisting of a removable 40mm fan cooling bracket fitted to each bank of DIMMs.
