Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS): IBPS provides training to the candidates seeking their career in banking sector. It also conducts examination for them. The marks scored by candidates in this examination are considered of importance by the banks at the time of recruitment.

Written Exam: The written examination is conducted by the bank itself so as to examine the knowledge and skills of the candidate in various subjects such as English Language, Mathematics, General Knowledge and Financial Markets.

Personal Interview: The personal interview is conducted after the candidate qualifies written-examination. Candidates who successfully clear the written examination are called upon by the bank for personal interview session in which interviewers check the efficiency and the personality of the candidates.

Appointment Letter: Candidates are provided with the appointment letter once they quality all the selection rounds and procedures as set by the selection board.

Training: The training of six months will be provided to candidates in which they learn how to work and co-operate with a bank. The performance of the candidates is examined clearly. The candidates are provided with a salary of Rs.12000/- per month while their training period. Their salary will increase once they are shifted to their posting region.
