After watching Ronda Rousey’s WWE in-ring debut, Jim Ross has the highest praise for her | MMAjunkie

We already see people beating up on Ronda Rousey for crying during her interview the other day.

Let me ask; Who goes undefeated when competing in MMA for any amount of time?

Anyone, man or woman, who can put together winning streaks like Ronda Rousey … makes it our privilege just to be able to see them during our lifetime.

I’ve seen plenty of Great men MMA fighters cry after a loss, and seen them retire, and even come back to fight again years later (sometimes even when they probably shouldn’t have). However none seem to elicit the emotional responses from combat sports fans that Rousey does.

It’s interesting to say the least.

I now see people beating up on Ronda Rousey for crying during her interview not only on social media, but even some of the “Oh So Serious” major media.

Esther Lin/MMA FightingIt may have taken a year or two, but former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women’s Bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey has finally opened up about her back-to-back knockout defeats to Holly Holm and Amanda Nunes. You can blame the media for her silence.Indeed, over the last few months “Rowdy” has slowly been breaking out of her shell to talk about her MMA past, as well as her WWE future. During a recent Q &A inside Wild Card West boxing gym, Ronda explained how she dealt with the losses.

Ronda has always been a crier … during her Olympic medal wins, during her StrikeForce MMA Championship, even while at the top of her (still unsurpassed) UFC Championship belt defense winning streak.

She cries.

She would probably even cry after beating the social media trolls down and arm-barring them until they tapped out.

How can you not at least respect someone who beat a childhood disability, and went on to become a superstar athlete in THREE different sports?

I don’t get some people.

She fraught until she became one of the greatest of all time in two types of combat sports. History will be much kinder to Rousey than social media.

In the world of professional wrestling, nobody’s word carries as much weight as legendary commentator Jim Ross. He’s been around forever, and he’s seen it all.So, keeping that in mind, here’s what “Good Ol’ J.R.” had to say about Ronda Rousey’s in-ring debut at WrestleMania 34 during a recent appearance on MMAjunkie Radio.“I thought that Ronda’s debut was the most impactful pro wrestling debut that I have seen in my 40-plus year career,” Ross said.
