MAGA or Bust: Trump signs $1.3 trillion Omnibus spending bill

Along with a lot of other folks, I was pretty disappointed that the Omnivorous Bill was signed by President Trump, but now that I have taken note that this bill only funds the government for 6 short months and that POTUS has stated that he will never sign another, I am thinking of it more like, “MAGA on Hold due to excessive swamp creature activity”.

Many think that the old rules still apply.

They don’t.

Obama changed the rules with the first spendibus.
He spent whatever he wanted on whatever he wanted, and congress said nary a word
A Bill does not equal a Budget

President Trump only needs his:

Pen
Phone

Remember O-Care subsidies?
Free Trans-gender surgery by joining the army?
on & on
It’s our turn.

President Trump can spend the swamp driven budgetary and policy platform disaster in any way that he may please

The military budget MUST be addressed.
The military budget does come first due to the last decade(s) plus of neglect.
The army corps of engineers build things for national security.
Things like walls.

The foreign wall budgets (yea the swamp approved wall budgets for several countries) could simply be “redirected” by E.O. to apply to the Mexican border.

All of that American Steel needs to be paid for … to make ships, tanks, guns, and planes.

China and Russia can’t be allowed to gain military superiority over the US and we are desperately under supplied right now.

Unlike a lot of disappointed Trump supporters, I have NOT joined the other side.

We can still MAGA

No one ever said that it was gonna be easy.

We have been through the looking glass for a long time now. Trump’s supporters held this presidency up as a single sign of one final hope that we could rescue the USA from the salivating alligator jaws of socialism.

It still may be far too late to save the country from being overrun with criminal migrant hordes and mobbed by SJW Fascist Socialists, but that doesn’t mean we should all quit trying.

BREAKING:: Trump signs $1.3 trillion spending bill, despite earlier threat to veto | Fox News

President Trump signed the $1.3 trillion omnibus spending bill Friday despite an earlier threat to veto the legislation due to the lack of border wall funding and a fix for DACA.

Trump signed the mammoth legislation reluctantly, saying in a press availability with other members of the administration that, in order to secure a necessary increase in military spending, he had to give money to Democratic projects that he derided as a “wasted sum of money.”

“It’s not right and it’s very bad for our country,” he said.

Trump had tweeted earlier Friday that he was considering using the veto, saying that recipients of the Obama-era Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program “have been totally abandoned by the Democrats.” He added that the border wall, which he said was “desperately needed for our National Defense” is not fully funded.

The House adjourned Friday morning until Monday, meaning that if Trump had vetoed the bill then the government would shut down.

It’s about time the Trump base learns the fraternal nickname that the GOP legislature has for us … “Flounder”.

You’ll be glad to know that Congress also gave themselves a great big raise in the Monstrous Spending Bill.
The bill increases Congressional salaries by $12 Million.

Let them laugh, we’ll laugh later … laughing last … laughing best.

For you folks considering abandoning President Trump, I have one question:
What other options do we have?
The swamp is much worse than even the most skeptical of us ever thought.

We can join the “let it burn” contingent if necessary and when the time comes, but for now I’ll give POTUS as much time as he needs.
The swamp has been 60 years in the making.

And after all, we’ll only need to “Burn it ALL Down” … Once.
