President Trump keeps expanding the base by playing the legislature, their corporate media mouthpieces, and the dwindling numbers of never-Trump GOP for the fools that they are.

Lots of President Trump’s supporters freaked out.
The Legislature failed to pass anything.
POTUS dismantles it piece by piece – 20 states challenge the remainder – the courts will rule against whats left.

DACA Deportations will hopefully start in the fall.

Lots of Trump supporters are freaking out.
The Legislature will fail to pass anything.

I sense a pattern.

President Trump has two years and going of tweeting the left into a frenzy on an almost daily basis.

Dick Durbin did say the other day that the televised meetings weren’t meaningful because POTUS walks back most of what he says at the meetings shortly therafter, so perhaps you’re right and they are starting to figure it out.

I don’t think most leftists have the self control to not be triggered anyway, even though they know they’re being played like a violin.

Last week … Donny [Deutsch] made news as a guest on MSNBC. Donny was asked about Donald Trump’s re-election chances. For once, I agree with Donny.

Deutsch said Trump will be re-elected in 2020 by a landslide because the economy is booming and Americans have more money in their pockets. Most Americans vote on pocketbook issues, he explained.

Then Donny spoke more raw truth. He said, “That’s why Trump must be removed from office now.”

My old pal Donny revealed what liberals are all thinking, deep down. Trump is a lock for re-election by a wide margin. As Deutsch admitted, that’s why he must be stopped now.

Crazed liberals scream for his removal … impeachment … even assassination. Because they know Trump is succeeding. He is effective, he is erasing Barack Obama and he is fundamentally changing America back to a conservative, capitalist nation. They know they can’t stop him at the ballot box, so they have decided they have to stop him any other way they can — even resorting to violence, conspiracy and sedition.

Liberals and the mainstream media love to claim Trump is ineffective. They say, “He’s accomplished very little.” Liberal scholars recently rated Trump as the worst president in history. Really?

I consider The Heritage Foundation my “Bible of conservatism.” According to its rating system, Trump is the most successful and effective conservative president in modern history. He scored far higher than my hero, Ronald Reagan.

Trump may be unorthodox. He’s certainly not like Jeb Bush or Marco Rubio or John Kasich or Ted Cruz. But he beat all of them. Then he beat “the unbeatable” Hillary. Then he became, according to the authority on conservatism, the most effective conservative president in history.

In recent days, Trump offered up a deal to keep DACA immigrants in the United States. Conservatives weren’t happy. But Trump won over some immigrants.

Then he offered up multiple gun control measures. Conservatives weren’t happy. But Trump won over suburban moms.

Then he offered up trade tariffs on China. Conservatives and Wall Street went on the warpath. But Trump won over working-class Americans.

The most conservative president in history won the right to move toward the center on a few issues by building a foundation even more conservative than Reagan. That gave him room for just a little compromise. That’s how you win elections by a landslide.

About DACA, the courts are certainly going to drag it out. DACA deportations would have started on the 15th of this month if not for activist judges. SCOTUS will decide if the president can decide to stop breaking the law, or if he will be forced to continue breaking the law. I lean toward the first option. It is an election year and the legislature is not going to save the DACA program by making it and them legal. Trump will again try do a deal. There’s little doubt that DACA will be a compromise in some way, and many of those particular criminal migrants will be allowed to stay in the US in some capacity.

O-Care … My prediction is that it will be struck down in the courts, most likely by the SCOTUS. The only thing that made O-Care constitutional was the mandate. The mandate was eliminated in the tax bill. The remainder will be struck down by the SCOTUS if not in a lower court. But take my predictions with grain of salt. Keep in mind that my prediction track record has been pretty good.

Gun Control … In the end the legislature will not pass ANY gun control legislation. In an election year, one surefire way to get primaried or lose in the general is to actually vote for gun control legislation.  Remember the “Assault weapons ban”?

Democrats do.

The political impact on Democrats and others who supported the bill was epic, and won’t soon be forgotten. At least 20 Democrats who voted in favor of that gun control bill lost to Republican challengers in 1994. Republicans took control of both houses for the first time in 40 years.

The President Trump televised policy meetings are made for TV and aren’t really intended for the established Trump base. The democrats and media keep broadcasting that Trump is “Just like Hitler”. While President Trump keeps sounding reasonable and conciliatory in these televised negotiations.

Not only do I think Trump will maintain his base despite his compromise proposals, he is working to expand the base, by a lot.

With Dems refusing to negotiate in good faith and who would rather play “all or nothing” politics with peoples lives, in the fall who will seem “reasonable” to the average voter in the voting booth?
