Foxconn to Invest $10B in New Wisconsin Manufacturing Plant
Foxconn, which makes Apple’s iPhone and other products in China, won’t make connected devices, at least at first. It will make flat-screen displays.
Chinese technology maker Foxconn, one of the largest manufacturing companies in the world, revealed July 26 at it will invest $10 billion to create a state-of-the-art facility in southeast Wisconsin, Chairman Terry Gou said at a White House press event.
Foxconn, which makes Apple’s iPhone and other products at its China-based factories, won’t make connected devices, at least at first. It will make flat-screen displays–touch and non-touch–which will create about 3,000 jobs in the region.
That is just the beginning. Eventually the agreement could produce around 13,000 jobs, with an additional 22,000 indirect and induced jobs by companies that produce assembly material for Foxconn’s products and there will even be a bump in construction jobs to the tune of about 10,000 new jobs .
Meanwhile the media chases a rabbit.
The “transgender service members in the military” scam was intended to provide free sex changes to trans interested people … period.
There are something around 15,000 service members who call themselves “transgender” and want the Taxpayers to cough up for their very expensive cosmetic surgery. 15K out of approximately 1.36 million Military members is 2.3 billion dollars worth of transgender surgery, and that doesn’t even include psychologists , hormone treatments and dance classes.
I also find it pretty amusing to hear anti-military leftists complain about Trump reducing the size of the military by an entire 1.1% of service members. Amazing.
