How to Check Google Chrome Version

Google Chrome is the most popular web browser that is available today. I am a huge fan of Google Chrome and that is what I use to browse the internet everyday.

Since the appreciation of Chrome as a browser is out-of-the-way now, let’s focus our attention on today’s topic which is ‘How to check Google Chrome version?’

Why are we even bothered to check the version of Google Chrome ? Because Chrome is available in two versions. A 32-bit and a 64-bit

Lot of people are unaware of this fact, and that’s the reason you are reading this post today.

Most of the new computers come with the 64-bit version of Windows. So you have a choice to install either the 32-bit Chrome or the 64-bit Chrome. 64-bit version of Chrome provides better speed, security and stability. Also, it is better than the 32-bit version in terms of rendering videos. The biggest advantage is that the 64-bit Chrome crashes about 50% less than the 32-bit version.

A point to note here is that the 64-bit Chrome does not support older plugins that are supported in the 32-bit Chrome. If you are no longer using the older plugins, you should switch to the 64-bit version of Chrome because of its advantages.
