Societies for promoting the field of assisted reproduction are many and the annual conferences conducted by them are important from the viewpoint of addressing changes, developments, and trends with respect to the same. The 9th Congress of the Asia Pacific Initiative on Reproduction (ASPIRE 2019) was held from 2nd May to 5th May 2019 at the prestigious  Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. This annual congress was jointly organized by the Asia Pacific Initiative on Reproduction (ASPIRE) and the Hong Kong Society for Reproductive Medicine (HKSRM). ASPIRE 2019 gave a glittering peep into the current happenings with respect to ART and raised several discussions related to reproductive medicine. ASPIRE 2019 encompassed an array of academic activities including pre-congress workshops, keynote lectures, simultaneous sessions, scientific programmes, and social events. An exhibition was also constituted along with other activities to highlight the latest products and services offered by the Health Care Industry.

Shivani Scientific Industries participated in ASPIRE 2019 with respect to the grand exhibition which displayed much of its products. The display was a mix of the old line of popular products and new entrants waiting to storm the IVF market! Products belonging to the Fornax brand such as Spermfuge or Jacket Warmer were demonstrated which have created their own niche in the IVF industry. A streamline of newly launched products such as the Lab Care, based on IOT (Internet of Things) sensors which have been very effective in real-time monitoring of the IVF lab environment was the centerpiece of the exhibition! Other key products like Lab Sense and Lab Health also were a part of this exhibition. Shivani Scientific Industries Managing Director Mr. Ashish Modi along with General Manager Exports Sangram Patil met several key visitors at the exhibition and a lot of interest was generated with respect to knowing the products and the services! Inquiries and visitors at the booth comprised of clinicians, embryologists and other executives from countries such as Singapore, Japan, Australia, China, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Vietnam, and the Philippines.

The scientific event believed to leverage the advancement of assisted reproductive technology and empowering the region with respect to ASPIRE was a grand success and the next edition is expected to be the same.
