Viber has launched a new feature in India called as Public Chats. Yes, Viber is allowing its users to go beyond the personal chats. The new feature can be opened by any Viber user and he/she can invite their friends also to join the public chat. The well known messaging app that provides free calls and messaging service has now come up with a unique idea. Out of their present 460 million users, 33 million users are from India followed by the US, Russia, Brazil and the UK, Mark Hardy, Chief Marketing Officer, Viber.

With the help of Public chats users will be able to follow live discussions between celebrities and personalities. By taking part in live conversations, users can easily get the inside scoop of celebrities upcoming songs or movies. This is going to be interesting; you can do live sports chat while the match is going on. Users can share their content, media like images, and video with other members of chat. There is no restriction on the amount of following public chats; anyone can follow as many of public chats as they like.

Viber has found a unique way of interaction between anyone. Public chats are a good way to open any discussion. Users are allowed to share web links, stickers, photos in these chats. Till now we all have experienced only private chats but doing a chat publically is going to be a fun for everyone.

Interestingly, the most famous chats will be featured on the home screen of the Public Chats section of Viber. Any user is allowed to enter into these chats. Users can easily find who is chatting, or they can access a chat directly through its customized URL. Some of the personalities who have their accounts on public chats are Anushka Sharma, Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor, Shaan, Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and many more.
