Lava Iris 401 the new entry level smartphone is spotted on official website. The smartphone is an upgraded version of Iris 401e that was launched last year. In the era of Kitkat, Lava Iris 401 runs on Android 4.2 Jellybean OS. It’s a dual SIM smartphone that lacks 3G connectivity.

Lava Iris 401 features 4-inch (800×480 pixels) Capacitive Touch Screen. It is powered by 1.3GHz Dual Core Processor coupled with only 256MB RAM. It comes with 512MB internal memory that can be expanded up to 32GB using microSD card. The new Iris 401 smartphone comes with 3MP rear camera with LED flash and 0.3MP front facing camera. It packs 1450mAH battery.

In the previous few months, Lava has been seen releasing different models in its Iris series. Lava Iris X5 is a selfie centric smartphone that was launched back in September. Lava Iris 460 that flaunts with faux leather back cover with the support of 11 regional languages was launched in the same period. With the increasing demand of cheapest android phones, Lava is gradually increasing its affordable smartphones line-up.

Lava Iris 401 is listed on company’s official website, but the company didn’t mention the pricing details yet. The smartphone however available in black and blue colors.
