You can disable all the USB ports on your computer, or any other computer with Windows 7 or Windows 8 with this simple registry trick.

Steps to disable pen drive and usb ports in Windows 7:

-->First press the Windows key, the key to the left of ALT key, and at the same time press 'R' key, this will bring up the RUN dialog box.
-->Now type 'regedit', and press enter, then give ok.
-->Now open the following address in the registry windows, by clicking on the fields successively,

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\UsbStor

You should have something like this:

-->Now open the USBSTOR folder
-->Now open "Start" in the right pane by double clicking it, and change its value to 4 from 3.

 -->Thats it! Sometimes you may need to restart your computer for this to work. Now anything connected to the usb ports wont be detected!
