Canon PIXMA MP237 Printer

Almost all Canon printers with Continuous Ink Supply System (CISS) are still getting cartridge error, and mostly needed to be replaced with new Cartridges, the most common error "Support Code: 1700" meaning the Ink Absorber is almost full, and need to be reset.

Here's what we should do in order to solve the error code.

Download first the Service tool for Canon MP237 or the Resetter program Click Here

After having the service tool. Go to the Printer and Turn it off.

After turning OFF,
2. Press and Hold the STOP/Reset button then Press and hold the Power button
3. Release the STOP/Reset button ( Don't release the Power button )
4. Press the STOP/Reset button Six (6) times
5. Release the Power button
6. It will display/show black.

The computer then will recognized a new device and ask to intall. Just click Cancel and locate the service tool that you've download recently.

On the Service Tool, just follow the example below as shown.

After performing the above task, turn off the printer and turn it on normally, you can now continue printing. If the printer is blinking at cartridge, consider replacing with a new genuine cartridge for Canon MP237 with Cartridge No. 810 for Black and 811 for Colored
