The "New Normal" after Lockdown. Some practices and trends foreseen to Continue to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19),  as government ease lockdown restrictions.


Heightened Hygiene Practices


Intensive and regular sanitation at work and at home, washing hands and avoid touching the face are highly recommended.

Avoid Mass Gathering


Many people will continue to stay isolated, keep away from large gatherings and practice social distancing (atleast 1m away).

Distancing at Work


Employees will be asked to respect distancing rules, Work from home (for those who can do their jobs from home), Tele/Videoconferencing will continue for the foreseeable future.

Wearing a Mask


Many countries impose or recommend use of mask in public places.

Travel and Commuting


International/long distance travels only for exceptional reasons. Many will opt to walk, use scooters, bicycles or even cars instead of public transport for work or short travels.

Boosting Immune System


Maintaining a healthy diet, regular exercise and rest to boosting immune system and mental health will be a priority. Home gyms and online tutorial exercise are popular.

Distance Learning


Many schools will use online tools to continue distance education but could be hard for people without access to internet/digital tools. Home schooling will be trend.

Go Digital


Digital commerce will be on an upswing, as more stores and restaurants offer 'no-contact'
delivery services. Increased use of online media/apps/video services also expected.

E-sports and Empty Stadiums


Many events will be canceled, postponed or may be 'reinvented' with new formats E-sports, video-on-demand, indoor sports will be popular.
Empty stadiums are expected.
