Nokia Unveils the Lumia 630 and 635

Apart from the high-end Lumia 930, Nokia has also announced a duo of starter-range phones in the Lumia 630 and 635.
There isn’t much difference between the two phones, except for the 4G connectivity in the latter of the two, plus a bigger price tag.

The phones come with a 4.5″ ClearBlack LCD display with FWVGA resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. They are also Gorilla Glass 3 protected. The Lumia 630 also comes with an optional dual-sim version, which makes it the first ever Windows Phone with such capability.
Under the hood, you get a 1.2Ghz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor with 512 MB RAM and 8 GB internal memory, expandable via microSD card slot. At the back lies a sole 5 MP camera.
Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and microUSB 2.0 are used for connectivity. Both the phones will be available in four colours. Windows Phone version 8.1 will come pre-installed. SensorCore is built-in on both of them, which is a sign of fitness-tracking trickling down to the lower-end markets too.
Pricing starts at $159 for the single-sim Lumia 630. It adds $10 for the version with two SIM cards. The 4G LTE version costs $189 though you will care lesser about it.
Given the tempting price tag, if widely available, the duo sure can give the Moto G a run for its money in this price bracket.
