At times when I and my husband plan to travel within the country or abroad, we always prefer to crack the best deals to save more money. We work hard to save and try to enjoy the fullest in what we earn. In our last trip we went to Dubai and it was a marvellous experience overall.  Hotels in Dubai are bit costly but we managed to book in advance and avail discounts.

As, what we have heard, Nottingham is the neatest and cleanest city in the UK and when we visit we try to experience everything the city has to offer. I and my husband always plan a trip to make sure everything shall go streamline. We do make mistakes like a normal couple but we try to learn from them.  Before planning our trip, we look for something which is cheap and worth spending money. Starting with our stay, we looked for low-cost Nottingham hotels which offer us the same deals at the best price. Hotels can be very expensive when you don’t know where to look, but we have found that some of the best rates can be found when contacting the hotel directly.

Once the booking has been completed with the hotel, we check out the nearest visits which are suitable to go as Nottingham is well known for its coffee shops, restaurants, clothing retailers and more. What I have studied about this place is its traditional British atmosphere, which can definitely please the vintage fans. I love British culture with all my heart and have always wanted to visit to learn more. Now, it’s time to explore the city with a long-lasting history.

Vintage Shops

In Nottingham, there is a big vintage/punk rock scene, so it is easy to find retailers that tailor to the audience. In the city centre, there are numerous shops filled with unique items that, even if you are only there to peruse, will blow your mind. If you have ever walked through Camden Market, you will have a good idea as to what to expect with such a thriving vintage scene in the area.

Nottingham Castle

If you are a fan of Robin Hood, quite possibly the most famous legend to come out of England, then you simply must not miss out on a trip to Nottingham Castle. So, we planned to visit the castle which was at nominal cost and was offered a free return ticket. We both used the return ticket to revisit the place to check out what we missed, as it is impossible to take everything in in just one visit. The view we saw from the top of the hill was unbelievable and it offers a marvellous perspective over the park.

Enjoy the Pub

If you love to drink, then whats more fantastic to dine in the oldest pub in England? As, we visited the Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem which is said to be established in 1189 AD. It’s worth visiting the place which has been serving the Brits for such a long time. This place is very soothing and it is right beside the castle. So, there was no excuse not to visit this place.

Of course, there are numerous other reasons why you should visit this fantastic city in the heart of England, not least for its vibrant nightlife. Whether you want to sample some of the city’s rich history, enjoy a night on the tiles or just looking for somewhere to kick back and relax after a stressful period, you won’t go far wrong with Nottingham.
