It has come to our notice on the recent rumours that have been flying around since yesterday and today that MTN is planning to discontinue Blackberry 10 internet subscription services.
Well it is not quite surprising that this rumour is coming up at this point, owning to MTN recent activities.
You might have been aware that MTN not long ago suspended their cheapest call tariffplan, MTN True Talk Plus.
Again, by the beginning of this week, MTN circulated text messages to most of their subscribers, informing them that the long aged MTN free mid night call has been discontinued.
And the most recent happenings that must have made the rumour of MTN planning to Discontinue Blackberry 10 internet services garner much weight is that at the wake of yesterday morning and till present, many MTN subscribers have been unable to subscribe to any of the BB10 internet services.
When they try to subscribe these few days, they are told that their activation to BB10 has failed.

But we were duly informed that MTN is currently carrying out routine upgrade to their systems and servers and that is what must have caused most of your BB10 subscription/activation failure.
this upgrades normally do not take long, and in due time, you should be able to subscribe to any of the Mtn Blackberry Internet service plan again.
So be informed that the service has not been discontinued and that you can still subscribe to it when the upgrade is complete.
