Turkish private jet crashes in Iran

A Turkish Private Jet has crashed in the mountainous region in southwestern Iran, reportedly near Shahr-e Kurd.

The Bombardier Challenger 604 twin engine business jet was flying from Sharjah, UAE to Turkish capital Istanbul.

All the 11 on board the aircraft are feared dead. According to eyewitness, the plane caught fire mid-air before the crash.


The Bombardier CL-604 registration TC-TRB was manufactured in 2001 and owned by Başaran Holding.
