When combining old and new, classical and high tech, you can't use the standard PC with it's loud fans and cables. Things that lasted a century require technology with a design that will also last. This is called timeless design.

This interactive design is more like a statue that you want to feel. You want to touch it and look at it's sleek curves. You can also put a glass of water or a cup of coffee on top of it without it's touch sensor sensing it.

It's time we rethink how new technology is integrated and treated.

Regarding software I believe what a lot of people see as well. It's that software that has been usable ten years ago isn't so much different from the one used today. That browsers, office suits or other applications are constantly undergoing in many cases only cosmetic changes. We believe that it's possible to design high tech computer systems usable also in twenty years. It can be done.
