Tommy has been with the Panther team for about a year as a Mechanical Drafter and Designer. Before Panther, Tommy worked on an assembly line where he worked his way up to Engineering Manager of a team of engineers based out of India. He has since discovered that he enjoys design over managing other design teams.

As a Mechanical Drafter, Tommy’s usual routine consists of working with the Panther sales team designing custom labeling automation solutions for their customers, as well as continuously improving other Panther print and apply machines. Tommy really enjoys creating blueprints for new designs and believes that geometric tolerancing is something everyone should learn in his position.

One of Tommy’s most impactful projects while working for Panther, has been removing an hour or more from superstructure layout and design time.

When Tommy is not at work he also enjoys Jiu-jitsu, Muy Thai, Concerts, Plays, and Musicals.

When asked, “If you could have any job in the world, what would it be and why?” Tommy’s answer was this, “I’d be a tow boat driver or a guide in the Superior National Forest. It’s the most beautiful place in the world.” So, it is no surprise he also enjoys outdoor activities such as fishing, hiking, camping, canoeing, and frisbee golf.
