So PPMI finally announced the cancelation of Packexpo in Chicago – to absolutely no one’s surprise.

For everyone’s health, this is obviously a good thing, and it is interesting to see that there will still be a PackExpo – the PackExpo Connects Virtual Event.

It is going to be really interesting to see how this comes together – virtual tradeshows are clearly not a complete replacement for the real thing, but PMMI is promising a mix of live chats, online demos and other features to make the event as complete and interactive as possible.

I think this will be like many there things – the more we all put into it (either as exhibitors or visitors) the better it will be for everyone.
