Meta, the parent company of Instagram, introduced Notes in December 2022, enabling users to share short-lived, 60-character status updates within the Chat tab, similar to Stories. These updates disappear after 24 hours.

How to Add Songs/Music on Instagram Notes?
To add music to your Instagram Notes, follow these simple steps:
- Open the Instagram app and navigate to the messages tab.
- In the top left corner, locate and click on the "+" sign labeled as "your notes."
- From the menu that appears, select "music icon."
- Choose the desired tune you wish to include.
- If desired, you can complement the music clip with text or emoji.
- Once you have composed your note, tap on 'Share' located at the top right corner.
These music notes may be changed or deleted at any moment, also the users can control who has access to them, including followers and close friends.
