Dashain also known as Bada Dashain or Bijaya Dasami is the most popular festival of Nepal. It is the longest and most auspicious festival in Nepal celebrated by Hindu. Peoples return all part of the world, only to celebrate this festival with their family. All government offices, educational institutions, private offices are closed during this festival.

Dashain falls mostly in September/October. On Dashain 10the day i.e Bijaya Dashami which is also the most important part of this festival, younger put Tika and Jamara from the elders and get the Ashirbad and Dakshina.
