Ar-glasses support Glass Explorer Edition

will stop after February
Google will stop supporting the Glass Explorer Edition, the augmented reality glasses that were introduced in 2012. No support will be provided after 25 February, but it will still be possible to use the ar glasses.

A support page has been opened for the Explorer Edition of Glass, with Google indicating that one more software update will be released. Users must install these if they want to continue using the glasses. The software update will be available for installation for another two years after 25 February. Google has put a step-by-step plan on the support page to install the software.

With this latest update, support for the Glass Explorer Edition comes to an end after 7 years. In 2012 , Google released its first version of the smart glasses, after which sales for the general public began a year later.

Although Google does not continue with the Explorer Edition of the glasses, the support for the business version, the Enterprise Edition. Google made a new version of that earlier this year, which includes a more powerful processor.
