Caiway will raise its rates for various packages as of 1 March. For example, the monthly prices of the All-in-1 HD and Fiber Optic packages go up by a maximum of 2.50 euros. Fiber-optic customers get higher speeds in return.

The price changes are part of extensive adjustments to subscriptions at Caiway, which include changes to the general terms and conditions and the privacy statement. The provider mentions the reason for the tariff increase that it invests in improving the service and has to deal with higher costs of products and services.

The monthly prices for the All-in-1 HD packages go up by 2.50 euros, without any change in content. The prices of the various fiber optic packages in the regions of Krimpen and Loenen also increase, by 1 to 2.50 euros.

The price of the Basic TV subscription also rises, by 1 euro. Those who have a regular fiber optic subscription can now receive a second receiver for interactive TV for free; previously there was a rate of 5 euros, on top of the rate for the first recipient. Caiway also adds its Replay TV service for delayed viewing to the All-in-1 fiber optic packages.

The prices for the optical fiber offer rise by 2.50 euros. Some of these packages are advancing in speed. This applies to, among other things, the Ordinary packages. For example, the cheapest offer, just advantageous from 100Mbit / s up and down, goes up to 150Mbit / s in terms of upload and download speed. The speed also increases with the All-in-1 Glass G packages. The most expensive package, All-in-1 Glass G500, turns into All-in-1 Glass G600 and the symmetrical speed goes up from 500Mbit / s to 600Mbit / s.

Customers see the price change for March at the end of February on their invoice.

The new general conditions state that somewhere after 1 April CAIW Diensten BV will be merged into Delta Fiber Netherlands, as decided last year, but the name Caiway will be retained. In the amended privacy statement , the retention period of fifteen months for customer data is now specifically named after the expiration of the contract. For contact details, this term is two years. Caiway also explicitly reports address details to be supplemented with information from third parties ‘for marketing purposes’.
