This week, Apple released two iOS 12 builds for developers at once, which means that the main work on improving and optimizing the Operating system before the full release comes to its logical conclusion. By the established tradition, the blogger iAppleBytes compared the speed of the ninth beta version of iOS 12 and the current iOS 11.4.1 .
The tests involved Iphone 5s, iPhone 6, iPhone 6s, and also iPhone 7. On each of the devices, the same backup was installed in order to maximize the purity of the experiment.
The results were as follows: iOS 12 showed itself better on absolutely all tested devices. This is especially noticeable when running full-time applications. In this case, the results of performance tests were within the static error. The operating system’s boot speed has also been significantly improved, but not on all devices. For some reason, iPhone 7 on iOS 12 booted a little slower than on iOS 11. However, the operating system is still at the testing stage, and most likely it will be fixed in one of the following assemblies.Viewing:-29
