How to restrict access to web pages on iOS

Many people know about the built-in iOS “Constraints” function. This tool allows you to fine-tune the access to certain options, which is especially useful if several people use your device. Today, we’ll show you how to use simple settings to deny access to certain web pages.

So, what is needed for this?

First of all, start the “Settings” on our iOS-device.
Go to the section “Basic” -> “Restrictions”.

It will be necessary to set the access code, or enter our restriction password if it was previously set.
After that, activate the option by selecting the “Enable Limits” option.
Next we find the section “Websites” and go into it.
The choice will be presented to three options for a possible lock:

” All websites” – in this case there is no restriction.

“Content limit for adults” – iOS will automatically block adult sites. It should be understood that the filter is primarily tuned to Western resources. If necessary, you can configure the “white” or “black” list of web pages.

“Only the specified websites” – you will be banned from all resources except those you specify in the whitelist.
Now, when you try to go to a prohibited site, a warning will appear that access to the web page is limited. In this case, the ban extends not only to Safari, but also to any other third-party browsers.
