ARM promises to enhance the performance of artificial intelligence

through Dynamiq architecture

ARM revealed on Monday the first designs of the Dynamiq processing platform, and said the new processor family will enhance the performance of artificial intelligence more than 50 times over the next five years. The platform aims to deploy the edge-to-cloud artificial intelligence processing .

The company was engaged in the manufacture of chips for phones, cars and mobile devices has been announced for the first time
In March of the dynamic platform Dynamiq, a new platform that promises to improve performance and efficiency compared to the current architecture of current generations.

The discovery was made possible by the inclusion of ARM Cortex-A75, ARM Cortex-A55, and ARM Mali-G72 based on Dynamic architecture. The new nuclei provide high performance and high processing capacity.

The new graphics chip expands virtual reality capabilities, gaming and machine learning on mobile devices with a 40 percent increase in graphics performance, and the company expects the official launch of the Nucleus and graphics chip in 2018.

The Cortex-A75 offers a leading performance of up to 50 percent in areas such as artificial intelligence. The company notes that these nuclei are ready to work on laptops and are best suited for large-screen devices, networking equipment and cars.

The Cortex-A55 nuclei have doubled the energy efficiency of up to 2.5 times as compared to the company’s current nuclei, and these nuclei are designed to deal specifically with everyday use devices such as tablets, smartphones and IoT.

The new chips benefit from the new Dynamic Architecture architecture, which intelligently switches between processor nuclei as needed. The Cortex-A75 has four high-power nuclei and four lower-energy nuclei, while the Cortex-A55 contains one high-power core and seven low-power nuclei.

The platform also includes other changes such as the CryptoCell-712, ARM’s latest security architecture, as well as the original HDR support, known as the High Contrast Display Standard.

The Mali-G72 graphics chipset is the first dynamic chip to deliver improved graphics and is capable of delivering 25 percent greater power efficiency and bandwidth reduction of 87 percent, delivering better performance by 1.4 percent. Weakness compared to 2017 devices.
